No customer service reps in the states only Philippines and simple phone conversations take over an hour every single time. I have been embarrassed at dinners, can't use my cards freely on vacation and so forth. Whenever I am at a merchant attempting to pay the card will decline and send a verification text an hour after Ive already left the merchant. They do this every time I pay my balances in full almost as if they are stopping me from using my available credits. My card will then start working only for a few transactions after the 7-10 days and this will happen again. When I verify what's there and hasn't changed, they confirm its correct and then close my card down for "further investigation" for 7-10 business days. I have been a customer over 10 years and none of information has changed. Within the week both cards will have "temporary blocks" claiming I need to verify some information. I will express pay my balances down to zero and within 24 hours my cards will decline everywhere. They HAVE to be doing some sort fraudulent activity towards paying customers. If you're protecting consumers actually protect us. SIDE NOTE: Organizations like the Better Business Bureau need to start taking their positions more seriously and pressuring (via fines or something else) companies like Credit One Bank - that have 1 star ratings and reviews chock full of current and former customers reporting predatory practices - to drastically change they way they do business and effectively treat their customers. How this bank is still allowed to exist is beyond me. All of this, over EIGHT DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTS. Then boom, magically my payment was received in seconds with no issues - only after all the damage they've effectively done to my credit and ability to maintain my rage. When they tacked on late fees that brought the account balance from $8.25 to $99.25, I finally caved and did the live option. Fast forward to two full years of me complaining about this and they closed my account and reported it to all 3 credit bureaus as late because I refused to use their live payment option (which costs $4.99) on an $8.25 charge. I've had this issue with them an inconceivable amount of times. When making payments toward your Credit One credit card, they WILL NOT take the money from your account unless you pay the additional fee for 'Live Payment'. This bank is allegedly not fraudulent, but operates as a scam.
